Glass Skin and Broken hearts

How can you fix someone you love
who is broken beyond repair.
You give your strength, love, devotion, and soul
But its never good enough.
Damaged Good, broken and blood, used and forgotten.
You try to be the one to lift their
battered body off the floor
But their glass skin shatters at your touch.
You try to mend their broken heart
but they bleed out and stain your hands
with their dirty blood
You try to be their salvation
and sacrifice all of yourself
But....
They fall apart again
So they spit their poison at you
along with them blame
which seeps into your pores
deep into your blood
pumped through your veins
stopping your heart.
Can you fix someone with glass skin and a broken heart?
